David L. Wodrich

David L. Wodrich is an American psychologist, professor, researcher, and author. He is the Mary Emily Warner Professor in Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://benjaminbehavioral.com/Benjamin_Behavioral/About_US.html )〕 He was previously Director of Psychology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital (AZ), Assistant Professor of Psychology at Illinois State University, and Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona.
Professor Wodrich has authored several books on learning disabilities and psychological assessment/intervention, including a structured methodology for detecting the nature of students’ learning problems and matching their needs to empirically-supported educational interventions. Besides publications concerning the impact of learning problems at school, Dr. Wodrich has conducted distinctive research regarding the effect of pediatric illnesses (e.g., diabetes, epilepsy, cancer) in the classroom.
He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Applied School Psychology.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.coe.arizona.edu/faculty_profile/1507 )〕 Among honors are Distinguished Contribution to the Practice of Psychology (Arizona Psychological Association) and fellow status in Division 16 of the American Psychological Association. He is also a consultant to Benjamin Behavioral Health Services in Scottsdale, AZ, where he conducts psychological and neuropsychological evaluations of children with learning, developmental, and health-related school difficulties.
